Cancellation, return, exchange and refund rights for purchases from LAMPSI.

1. Overview
This policy explains cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds for purchases from LAMPSI through https://www.lampsigh.com. It is subject to mandatory rights under Ghanaian law. Current support and return details appear in the Business & Contact Information panel on this page.
2. Cancelling before dispatch
To cancel before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible with the order number. Where cancellation is still operationally possible, we will cancel the order and arrange any applicable refund. If the parcel has already been dispatched, the order may need to follow the return process below.
3. Fourteen-day right to cancel online purchases
Subject only to exceptions permitted by applicable law, a customer who purchases goods through an electronic transaction may cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason and without paying a penalty. The customer may be responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods where the law permits.
This right is not reduced by a shorter store-configured return period. A longer period applies if LAMPSI expressly offers one. Rights for defective, damaged, incorrect, misdescribed or undelivered goods remain available independently of a change-of-mind cancellation.
4. Lawful exceptions
The change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply where an exception permitted by Ghanaian law applies, including goods made to the customer's specifications, perishable goods, or goods that by their nature cannot reasonably be returned. LAMPSI will not apply a categorical restriction merely because an item is described as final sale, lacks packaging or is hygiene-sensitive; any exception or deduction must have a lawful basis and will not remove rights relating to defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
5. Care of goods and return condition
Take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession. You may inspect an item to determine its nature, characteristics and fit. Where permitted by law, unreasonable use, alteration or damage beyond what is necessary for inspection may affect the remedy to the extent justified by the circumstances. Original accessories or packaging should be included when reasonably available, but their absence does not automatically remove a statutory right.
6. Incorrect, damaged or defective items
If an item is wrong, damaged or defective, contact us promptly with the order number, a description and clear photographs or other reasonable evidence where helpful. After review, the remedy may include replacement, repair where appropriate, refund or another agreed solution in accordance with applicable law. Where the error is ours or goods are defective, LAMPSI will not require you to bear a return cost that the law places on us.
7. Exchanges
Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange for another size, colour or product. If an exchange is unavailable or impractical, the item can be handled through the applicable refund process and you may place a new order.
8. How to start a cancellation or return
Signed-in customers may open an eligible order under Account → Orders and submit a cancellation or return request. Customers may also use the support email, phone or WhatsApp details on this page, including for a guest order. Provide the order number and the affected items. We will give current return or drop-off instructions where needed.
Do not send a return to an address other than the current return address or instructions confirmed by LAMPSI.
9. Refund timing
Once a refund is due and any required returned goods have been received or verified, LAMPSI will initiate the refund promptly. If goods are unavailable after a paid order, LAMPSI will notify the customer immediately and refund the affected amount within seven days after that notice, as applicable under Ghanaian law.
After LAMPSI initiates a refund, a bank, mobile-money operator, card network or payment provider may need additional processing time before funds appear. We will not describe that provider processing period as a delay in deciding whether a valid refund is due.
10. Refund method
An online-payment refund will normally be returned through the original payment method where technically available. For Pay on Delivery, or where an original-channel refund is not technically possible, we may request appropriate bank or mobile-money details to complete the refund securely. LAMPSI will never ask for a card PIN, CVV, online-banking password or mobile-money PIN to process a refund.
11. Delivery and return costs
For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted by law. Delivery charges and return costs for defective, damaged or incorrect goods will be handled according to applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
12. Fraud and abuse
We may investigate a return or refund request that appears fraudulent, manipulated or abusive. An investigation does not remove legitimate statutory consumer rights.
13. Contact
Use the support details displayed on this page for refund and cancellation help. Never publish sensitive payment credentials in a support message.
